FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas State Police need the public’s help identifying the driver from a July 3 hit-and-run that left a 19-year-old dead.
Police say that the public should call the Criminal Investigation Division at 870-850-8630 if they see a red Honda with damage to the front passenger side and a missing fog light, the model is unknown.
The driver was traveling north on I-530 near Exit 27 at about 10 p.m.
ASP said that a witness saw Kalei Owen, of Bentonville, run from a nearby wooded area into the interstate where she was struck by a car and killed.
